Cara Fries
My name is Cara Fries, the blogger behind Marvelous in the Midwest. I was born and raised in Wisconsin but have lived in Chicago for 6 years. My blog is meant to be a platform for women of all ages to get affordable style advice to look and feel their very best. I hope to empower all women to take risks and step out of their comfort zone to try new but also classic trends.
what does the vionic
secret mean to you?
“To me, the secret means you have don’t have to feel uncomfortable to look good and feel your best. There has always been this notation that ‘fashion kills,’ but I don’t think that has to be true. To look and feel your best, you have to be comfortable in what you’re wearing, and Vionic makes it easy to look and feel this way without trying too hard.”
what’s your secret to doing
or being your best?
“I try not to let others influence my decision or to feel pressured to act or feel a certain way. I also don’t let myself compare myself to other people and just always try to do the very best that I can. At the end of the day, I know I tried my hardest, and that’s all that matters!”
How would you describe
your personal style?
“My style is very girly meets classic. I absolutely adore bright colors and a classic red lip is my go-to!”
