The Cuff is a fashion and lifestyle blog based in New York City that I started in 2015. The name "The Cuff" was inspired by my predilection for a tailored, streamlined pant cuff. It's a small detail that makes a big difference in a look. The Cuff stands for a lifestyle that starts with the little things: the details.
what do you love
about the bruno?
“My favourite thing about the Bruno oxford is its versatility. A wingtip is as classic as it gets, but I love that they come in a soft grey suede that adds a bit of character and texture for a modern update to the silhouette. It's a great transitional shoe that can be worn with a tee and trousers in late summer or a wool suit when the mornings get chillier this fall. Not to mention, it already feels broken in right out of the box—a rarity for a dress shoe.”
what are your wardrobe staples when you travel?
“I never travel without black jeans and a white t-shirt. They work in any crowd or clime and are infinitely versatile—easily dressed up with a blazer and boots or kept casual with a pair of white sneakers.”
how would you describe your everyday style?
“I tend to gravitate toward neutral tones with a strong emphasis on fit and lots of black, white and grey, with a pop of blue thrown in once in a while for good measure. My style tends to be minimalist and tailored with urban undertones.”
what trends have you noticed for men’s style this fall?
“We've definitely seen the logo-heavy '90s streetwear trend come back into play over the past couple seasons, and I don't think it's going away any time soon. Monochromatic looks have also been big lately—especially earth tones. I plan to experiment with this concept a bit myself later this fall.”
