Kirsten Myers
Last year Kirsten spent life entirely off the grid. She put all her belongings in storage and travelled full time so that she could live an untethered life. As a blogger, she's extremely passionate about helping women find the confidence to try new things, explore outside their comfort zones, make healthy choices and feel empowered to live their best lives. She's currently living in Nashville ready to take on her biggest adventure yet - baby Myers will arrive in May.
what do you love
about this shoe?
“Besides the comfort level and the fact that it's lightweight, I love the fun and flirty polka-dot laces + the distinctive neoprene look at the ankle.”
what does being unstoppable
mean to you?
“To me, being unstoppable means empowering yourself to let go of false beliefs that could hold you back so you can just DO YOU and live life on your own terms. When you're unstoppable you can find confidence from within, you don't care how many times you fail, you're going to succeed in your own way. And it doesn't matter how stacked against you the odds may seem.”
what’s your unstoppable story?
“In 2017 I was diagnosed with Hypothroidism. A thyroid disorder can be a vexing problem for a long distance runner. In fact, my training and recovery is what gave me clues that something was off to begin with. In order to heal, I had to make several lifestyle changes. Many of them were hard for me to bear at first because they were opposite of the beliefs I had previously set for myself. When I let go of those expectations and started running for fun, I felt unstoppable. I wasn’t running as fast or as often but when I crossed the finish line of the Vegas Rock ’n Roll in 2018, I've never felt more empowered. I did it in my own way and that’s all that mattered. I knew I could tackle any obstacle that came my way and I could feel good doing it.”
