CONTRIBUTION TO THE WEIL FOUNDATION
We continue to make strides to support initiatives directed toward preventative medicine and healthcare reform. Just this year, Vionic Group made a $50,000 donation to the Weil Foundation, an organization founded by world-renowned integrative medicine expert, Andrew Weil, M.D. Created as a long-term funding mechanism for the advancement of integrative medicine through training, research, education, and policy reform, Dr. Andrew Weil aims to ensure all doctors are routinely trained in integrative medicine, which will result in a commitment to preventative medicine and the reduction of healthcare costs.
Phil Vasyli, founder of Vionic Group, remarks, "At Vionic, our priority is to provide well-being with every step, which our shoes reflect in their proven ability to provide comfort and relief from aches and pains. In partnering with Dr. Weil and his foundation, we are proud to support the education of integrative medicine and the key message that movement and pain prevention are necessary steps to support a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
